Our PTA beautification initiatives enhance our school environment through volunteer-driven, campus-wide improvement projects to create welcoming, pride-inducing spaces that benefit our entire school community—teachers, staff, students, and visitors alike. 

Beautification efforts encourage responsibility, teamwork, and respect for shared spaces, helping to build a positive school culture. Ultimately, a well-maintained and engaging school environment strengthens community spirit and enhances the overall educational experience.  

Each year, we host projects that enhance outdoor learning and play. Many of our efforts support environmental education and sustainability, encouraging students to become stewards of the Sternberger school grounds, Greensboro, and the planet at large.

Our Campus Clean-Up days provide opportunities for families to work together, fostering community connection while improving the school. These inclusive events aim to engage people of all ages and abilities. We recommend bringing any of the these items if you have them: 

Mark your calendars - we're adding a Winter Campus Clean-Up event this year - Sunday, February 22, 2026 from 2:00 pm  to 4:00 pm. We'll be tackling the natural area in front of the entrance at the main building, including our Lending Library. All are welcome to join!
